Open Question: Risk of malaria or other diseases in China?

Hi, ive booked a holiday to china and am currently looking into vaccinations. I took a tetanus, diptheria and polio jab about four years ago and they last about 10 years so that should be alright. I'm planning on visiting places like guangzhou, yingde, shaoguan, shenzhen, hainan and guilin. Is the food+drink at most restaurants in these places generally fresh and clean?
